Hi bloggies! friday finally snailed in. and y' all (wait i'm not southern)--do ovah, you guys know what that means..tick tock tick tock.. time for our eYewatch frIday and PetPride weekly editions.

Looking 4 Two Labs??

Cookie and Coco
Seeking Home for 2 Family Dogs- Two gorgeous labs, trained (currently live in MA)

The family is moving overseas in just 2 weeks. Unfortunately, they have still not been able to find a good home for Cookie and Coco . They're not able to take our beloved doggies with them and have been desperately trying to find a home for both of them 'together'. They were raised together and pine without each other. The Lab rescue have already said that they would probably separate them, so this is their last resort. Recently they tried to take Coco out in my car alone and she TOTALLY refused to even get into the car without Cookie.....!!!! She absolutely pulled back on her haunches until Cookie was by her side.

Both doggies are in great health, have been spayed and have ID chips implanted under the skin.

Cookie turned 3 December 10th and Coco turned 3 April 1st. Cookie is my mellow-yellow, and just loves her tummy rubbed. Coco is adorably funny and lives for her "ball." She also loves the water...... Cookie loves lots of attention. Both doggies are loyal and love to walk. They have been raised with 3 kids running around all over the place, and have survived Sammy's constant hugging and love of 'dress-up', so they are fantastic family dogs. This is by far one of the most difficult decisions the family has ever had to make, but under the circumstances there's no choice.

Please, please forward these pics to all your friends. The family wants to find a great home for these fabulous doggies. They are just adorable and it's heartbreaking to let them go. In a perfect world, they hope that they could find someone local so that they can still keep in touch and visit them. They're praying that someone, somewhere can help them keep Cookie and Coco together, and love them just as much as we do.

Training Blog #8- the good, ok & humpf

the good, the ok & the humpf ... thought i was done with training. too good to be true. this week it was a triple tula whammy: a vet visit,a new training class, and a rub down. Let's start with the good! oh yah.. mas-sage time.


definitely the best part of training... yep, julie came to visit me this time. Usually we head ovah to Northeast kennels, but it was way 2 hard to concentrate on the massage. the constant wroo wrooo wroos, arf arfs, yappers at the kennels.. did not help to create a relaxing environment. i bet they were just jelly.

at home. relaxation.. not a problem. although when julie knocked on the door. a case of the zoomies broke out. i even went to show her my tricky ball. oops.. that's not why she's herah.

i settled down & got use to her visiting me. then, massage time. hot stones pulleze? oh yeah.. lavender is sooo soothing.. could use some of that too? i wish! just have to get ovah the fact that hoomans have to touch me to do that- this truly is training therapy!



the ok... Ruffians class is in session. a different reactive dog training class with a former instructor Paul Emerson. more advanced or faster paced. already walked in circles around the room with 5 other dogggies. paul calls me his 'grad' student since i was in his class a year ago and calls on moi to demonstrate. who moi? i think i'm impressing him.. calmer & got skills now. look out!





and the i already knew that... meet Dr. Wolfus, my favorite person! i like him so much i give him a special grrrrrrr just for him. especially when he tries to feel my tummie. he was thrilled! and said he notices the progress.. much more calmer this time. his orders are to continue training- okaaay AND lose some weight-- ah, that's a toughie. training = lots & lots & lots of treats. so.. maybe aftah.

that's my week in a nutshell. nevah let's up. excuse me while i catch up on some zzzzzzz..

meditating in progress

today's the start of 'summah school'-- ruffian dog training class. kinduv nervous ..it's back to class with an old instructor. haven't seen Paul in ovah a year & 1/2. thought i should do a little quick studying before class. of course i turned to the animal planet. there must be something on about dog training.

all of this has got me nervous.

maybe some deep meditation (got the idea from our pal, Mango) will help. he's a deep thinker & thought, hey look what it's done for him..

After class, time to drop off birfday gifts to our goofball cuzin, Norwood. He is officially in his terrible twos.

Here's a clue it's green, hops, & makes him coocoo.

it was a berry nice day

Hello bloggiepalz,

Look, i was watching out the window on the drive home...
umph, i was thinking to myself, this is new.

(the gentle leader kinduv takes away from the pic. tell my mom!)

when this sign caught my mince pies (right Eric, that's what we're calling eyes?!)
Nevah learned how to read, but i certainly recognized the picture!

Hold onto your seats, quick turn into this popcorn stand.. em farm stand.

it was filled with flowers, fruits, vegetables, nuts, maple syrup, and i didn't see the rest b/c i had to stay in the car.

while mom took forevah shopping & snapping photos of flowers! (getting the feeling she wants other subjects to photograph)


No worries, i was totally entertained with this old lady driving around.

the farm had rows & rows of plants.. hope the lady wasn't drunk.
there was alot of weavin' & turnin' & zoomin' through the fields.

i also kept my mince pies on mom too. just when she picked up some flowers, i had to give her a bark- remembah what happens to them? you put them on the windowsill & PEWF! they turn brown.

same with other plants.. no green thumb in this household.

(thought the tiny pink flowers were cute)

ok.. here she came back with bags full of bananas, raspberries, cherries, blueberries.. if it ends in berry, she got it. ( and chocolate covered almonds & pistashios-not 4 me)

all those berries made yummy frosty yogurt treats!
mmmmmm... it was berry berry good on a summah day!
